Prior to beginning SABRIL, inform your doctor concerning all of your (or your youngster's) medical problems including clinical depression, mood troubles, self-destructive thoughts vigabatrin side effects eye or behavior, any type of allergic reaction to SABRIL, vision issues, kidney issues, reduced red cell counts (anemia), and any kind of nervous or psychological illness.

SABRIL (vigabatrin) is a prescription medication used with various other therapies in kids and adults 2 years old and older with refractory complicated partial seizures (CPS) who have not responded all right to several other therapies and if the possible benefits exceed the risk of vision loss.


The most common adverse effects of SABRIL in kids 3 to 16 years is weight gain. With severe vision loss, you may only be able to see points straight before you (sometimes called one-track mind"). You are at risk for vision loss with any type of quantity of SABRIL.

If seizures get worse, inform your health care supplier right away. You and your doctor will have to determine if you should take SABRIL while you are expectant. The most typical side effects of SABRIL in adults consist of: obscured vision, drowsiness, wooziness, troubles strolling or really feeling uncoordinated, drinking (shake), and fatigue.
